A dark slice of instrumental progressive rock with tribal and psychedelic overtones, PATIENT ASLEEP is a concept album based on the idea of a contagious outbreak in a sinister near-future setting - an event which may only be happening in the mind of our protagonist, known only as The Patient. Influenced by both classic groups such as King Crimson and more modern acts like The Mars Volta, PATIENT ASLEEP is a departure from previous works more electronic in nature. Experimental and at times challenging, this unsettling work is a varied mixture of different and individual qualities that reward repeated listening.
